Two hundred and fifty years old

Taunton's is celebrating its 250th anniversary during this year. There will be a range of events to mark this special occasion. These will include a summer garden party, sports matches between past and present students and an education debate.

There will also be an exhibition in the city centre covering the history of the founding of Richard Taunton College in 1760 and the stories behind our predecessors on the current site, Southampton Grammar School for Girls and Hill College.
